Mark Spears

"I always wanted to be an interior yacht designer because I loved the idea of making the most efficient use out of every square inch in the most esthetically pleasing way possible. I find cabinet design and residential space planning a more practical means to pursue this passion."

Mark has been in the cabinet industry since 1982 and has spent a significant portion of that time "in the field" installing and overseeing cabinetry installations. Having this experience has afforded him tremendous first hand knowledge of what it takes to complete a project from start to finish.

Over the last 28 years he has produced hundreds of individual residential kitchens and bathrooms. For the last 7 years he has focused on developer, builder and architectural business and has completed over a dozen high-rise condominium and town home projects. Some of his more involved include the build out of 4 high-end kitchen showrooms, 3 of these being located in Atlanta and one at the Design Center in Washington , D.C.

With Mark's personal attributes and the strength of the Wood-Mode and Brookhaven brands, he will be well equipped to provide a level of service that will produce many more successful projects.

See some of Mark's work in trends-ideas and Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine, April, 2008 edition. He has also appeared in Atlanta Magazine's Home Magazine Kitchen 101 Tips on finding the best design help for your kitchen renovation.

Beth Barfield

"What an honor it is to be such an integral part of helping, creating, designing and then watching a client's kitchen or bath come to life. The look in their eyes after they see it come to life is irreplaceable. That is where I get the most satisfaction from what I do."

What Beth didn't expect when first venturing out into the competitive kitchen/bath design market was how much she would enjoy working and getting to know her clients on such a personal level to help create the most important room of their home.

She has been one of Atlanta's premier kitchen designers since 1998. Her talent and enthusiasm for designing kitchens and baths started while attending and graduating from Virginia College school for Interior Design. After her first kitchen and bath design class she knew where her future would be in the interior design market.

Beth's main goal in guiding her clients in the design process is first to listen and see what they like, see how they live, and combine the two resulting in function and form. The end result...."a timeless stunning kitchen to wake up to every morning with everything my clients use on a daily basis customized for the way they live and entertain."

Beth feels privileged to have worked with some of the top architects and designers across the country. Her designs have been published in Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles, Decor, Log and Timber, Great American Kitchens, Kitchen Trends, William T. Baker's New Classicists, Harrison Design A Decade of Work, and many more. She has also won several prestigious awards for kitchen remodel and new construction including a NARI award for best renovated kitchen and finalist for Wolf/Sub-zero best kitchen design. Beth has also been involved in many of the wonderful kitchen designs of the Junior League Tour of Homes since 1999.
